Cephatron #1860
We are students of the robotics team of the Technical School CEPHAS, a municipal institution of education that aims to train professionals in accordance with market demand. Established June 27, 2000 the school is an institution to provide mid-level free of charge to low-income community of our city, and five years participated in the International Robotics Competition FIRST.
With courses in mechanics, electronics, business management, nursing and chemistry, the school provides competent students and updated with the market to take the team forward.
Logomotion
The team will participate CEPHATRON # 1860 for the third time in regional New Jersey in the U.S. The game is called LOGOMOTION this year, where robots have to hang buoys shaped like the symbol of the FIRST (triangle, circle, square) and to finish the the game , a smaller robot, built by the team, is expected to rise by a pole 3 feet tall and gain more points.
The team has already started with the chassis' assembly. We have nine students, who will represent the team in the regional.

Our partnership with CEPHAS has been extremely rewarding. The technical level and energy of the students is amazing and the support of the governing body's total. This is the basis for the FIRST team Johnson & Johnson / Cephas make increasingly successful, with good results in competition and training of talents in technology.
